The pākē is a garment of protection — worn by both tāne and wāhine — representing strength, resilience, and belonging.
When made as a Pākē Hine, it embraces mana wāhine: the expression of beauty, softness, and inner power that radiates from our wāhine Māori. The coloured cords reflect the many hues of life and connection — symbolising aroha, vitality, and balance between te ao marama (the world of light) and te pō (the world of potential).
